My Acai Bowl Recipe

Sunday morning, 9 am.

I wake up super happy because it’s Sunday, I have the day in front of me to do all the stuff I love and relax before starting a new week. To start this beautiful day the right way, let’s start it with the perfect breakfast. I have been dreaming of eating that Acai Bowl for days now. I think weekend mornings are the best mornings to treat yourself with good and healthy food and take time to cook.

After checking different recipes online all week to prepare that magic and tasty Acai Bowl, I tried my own mix this morning and I can assure you it was delightful. So why don’t share it with you?

But first, for the one who doesn’t know, let’s talk about the power of Acai berries.
Acai berry is a powerful fruit from Brazil, they call it the “Tree of Life”. At first sight, it looks like grapes or blueberries, it has a lot of benefits and significant nutritional attributes. It is a really good antioxidant (10 times more antioxidants than red grapes).
But acai berries are also low in sugar, contain excellent amounts of iron, calcium, fiber, and vitamin A.
What a powerful fruit, no?

For this recipe, I bought organic Acai powder from the brand Guayapi. Their website is really cool, they have a lot of superfoods and everything is organic. Plus their packaging looks cool! (more on

Here’s the recipe I tried this morning:
For 1 Acai Bowl:
  • 1 cup of frozen red fruits (strawberries, raspberries…)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon of Acai powder
  • 1/4 cup of organic almond milk
  • Crunchy Granola
  • Almonds
  • 1/2 banana
  • Blueberries
  • Shredded coconuts
  • Organic honey
  • All the fresh fruits you want !
  1. In your blender, mix the frozen banana, the red fruits, the Acai powder and the almond milk. It should be smooth and thick like ice cream.
  2. When ready, pour into your favorite bowl.
  3. Add all the toppings you want! Granola, fresh fruits, shredded coconuts and a drizzle of honey on the top.
  4. Enjoy it !

Eat it, enjoy it and start your day happy!

And for you, what’s the best way to do it?
