Coffee on Monday morning, coffee on tuesday morning but why not coffee on your skin?
Coffee is essential for most of us in the morning to wake us up and to go through the day. But do you know coffee can also be good for your skin?

Coffee is loaded with antioxidants. It is a good way to protect your skin from all the bad things outside.
Have you ever complained that your skin was too dry?
Coffee scrub will make your skin so soft and bright. And with a mix of coconut oil, your skin will be rehydrated.
It’s summer time and as soon as we can, we usually go to the beach, right?
Coffee scrub will get you ready for the summer and for your perfect tan. It will prepare your skin for the sun and get rid of all the dead skins.
It helps blood circulation and leads to healthy and energised skin.
Oh, and I almost forgot! Studies showed coffee helps you reduce cellulite if applied conscientiously.

Homemade recipe for a coffee x coconut scrub

I love coffee and I love it smells.

It’s the thing that makes me happy in the morning when well done. I usually use a coffee plunger, sometimes I reuse the coffee and pour it in my plants (I heard it’s a good fertilizer, but that’s an other subject…).
But once I was thinking it could be a good ingredient for a scrub, so I started looking for its benefits on the internet and actually found coffee scrub were very trendy lately.
A lot of skincare companies are rolling on the coffee trend!

So if you are motivated enough to do it yourself, here is my recipe for a perfect coffee x coconut scrub.

All the ingredients I used are organic:

  • Repurpose your left over morning grounds or use 1/4 cup of fresh coffee grounds
  • 2 tablespoons of Organic Coconut Oil
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar or normal sugar

Coffee scrub will make your sking soft and bright

  1. Melt your coconut oil if not melted already
  2. Pour your leftover coffee grounds in a bowl (try to not pour the leftover water with it)
  3. Pour the melted coconut oil
  4. Add the spoons of sugar
  5. Stir well

You are now ready to jump in the shower and scrub your body.
It is all natural, it’s a good way to reuse your morning coffee grounds and it will make you feel so good!

Are you a big fan of coffee too?
